Chakla by definition is a cloth with four angles and is usually square in shape. They were used in religious festivities and also during wedding ceremonies. In today’s world these items are commonly used as decorative wall hangings.

This is a vintage item. Over 45 years old. The embroidery in the central medallion has worn off and the piece also has a few stains.
