Vintage Chakla from the Rabari community in Kutch, outfitted into a pillow. It features striking hand embroidery and mirror work details.

Chakla  by definition is a cloth with four angles and is usually square in shape. They were used in religious festivities and also during wedding ceremonies. In today’s world these items are commonly used as decorative wall hangings.

Custom down/feather insert included.

This is a vintage item. Over 40 years old. The pillow is missing a few mirrors details, which doesn’t take away its vibrant appeal.
