These Bandhini over sized throws/ bed covers are a true celebration of craft.

Handwoven in wool and silk they feature the age old Bandhini (tie dye) craft. Women patiently create tiny bindings to resist the dye, which create the surface pattern on these pieces. Bandhini is traditionally known for intricate patterns. Here we have used the craft to create a more bold and graphic pattern.

The silk and wool blend gives a sumptuous texture to the end product whether it is layered on a bed or used on the back of a sofa. Hand stitched edging and whimsical tassels provide the perfect finishing touch to this piece where every detail is created by hand.

For over 8 years, we have worked exclusively with the award winning family of Vankar Vishrambhai Valji to create our collection of scarves, throws and bedcovers.
