Vintage bridal bag from the Rabari community in Kutch, outfitted into a pillow. It features striking hand embroidery, mirrorwork and fabric tassels. These bags which were most likely worked on by the women in her family, played an important part of the bridal trousseau.

With all our vintage pillows wherever possible, we remain mindful of the artifact and choose not alter them. A flap enclosure with ties has been carefully created to secure the insert without changing its original form.
